Over the course of his career as an attorney, Michael has represented parties at mediation in individual and large class action/PAGA lawsuits. Indeed, he has negotiated several eight-figure settlements for his own clients. This experience has given Michael a unique perspective -- negotiating huge cases takes fortitude, strategy, and hard work. Yet Michael has also resolved small, individual cases and knows that sometimes disputes over small-by-comparison amounts can evoke strong emotional responses by the parties on both sides.

Michael has trained as a mediator at Pepperdine University’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. He serves as a settlement officer for the Los Angeles County Superior Court’s Resolve Law Virtual MSC program. He regularly mediates individual and class/PAGA actions in half- and full-day sessions.
